Well, we have been "Back to School" for almost a month now. I don't like school! (SHHH! Don't tell the kids!) I don't like school because it takes my kids away! I miss them when they are gone. Okay, I know they have to go to learn. And that's what makes me feel better. This year all my kids have the best teachers and it has brought me comfort knowing they are well loved and taken care of.

Lately it seems all I think about is food, food, food! Well, when you live in a house full of hungry, growing boys like I do, it will become your obsession, too! Now that the weather is warmer here, the boys have been spending much more time outside. We even turned on the sprinkler on Easter! So, I started thinking about ways to keep the fun outside.
1. Sprinkler Fun~ Set up a sprinkler. Give the bowls bowls, empty plastic flower pots, buckets, etc... Let them race to see whose bowl fill up faster.

Last week's tip was about the Olympics. Since they are still going on, I decided to dedicate another week to them. I love the olympics! What is your favorite part? I love the ice skating, Jeff hates it. But we all love the snowboarding. My family is into the extreme sports. Make sure you watch the snowboarding competition today! Tip of the Week
I love traditions! And one of our traditions is to have a party for the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. The day of the ceremony, we do crafts, decorate, and play games related to the Olympics. Then that night we eat pizza or something party-like. Then, we watch the ceremony. For the rest of the olympics we have fun watching the sports, keeping track of the medals, and researching about our favorite olympians!

New Years Eve Party: When the kids were young we still wanted to stay home and have a news years party with them. Being young and they couldn't stay up til midnight, so this party started at 6:00. As they have gotten older I have waited til later to start.

Here are a few tips I have used over the years to keep my Christmas morning sanity. Before, I have lost parts to toys and batteries. Not so much fun for the little one wanting to play with his gift! I've also thrown in time saving tips for you, too.
Clean Up Tips1. As you and your family unwrap presents, put all the wrapping paper in a trash bag.

Here are a few ideas that I have for stocking stuffers. Some are frugal, some are not. And they are in no particular order. Some can be for kids as well as teens or adults. So, I just mixed them all together. I also like to wrap most of the things I put in their stockings. It gives us more time in the morning! I started this tradition about 10 years ago. With all the busyness Christmas can bring I wanted my kids to appreciate the REAL reason we celebrate Christmas. It is easy to get caught up in the decorating and shopping, but that's not what it is about. Hey, I know my tips are usually very long but this one will be short an sweet. I only have one short tip. But sharing just one seems like a rip off so before I give the real one here's a few other short and sweet ones:1. Never leave sharpies within childrens reach.

It is Autumn! I love this time of year. Beautiful trees, crisp air, pumpkin picking, sweater wearing, bonfires, crackling fires in fireplaces, and decorating! I do not like to spend a lot of time cleaning the bathroom, or cleaning anything really. I figured out a way to keep it clean without spending hours scrubbing. I have a confession. I never have a problem with piles of laundry. I never have laundry backed up. People don't believe it and ask how in the world is that possible. I'll share my secret. When we lived in a small house, we didn't have a laundry room. Just a small linen closet. It would only hold 2 tall laundry hampers(purchased at dollar general) at the bottom. I am a stay-at-home-mom(SAHM) married to the love of my life, Jeff Nelson. We have five wonderful boys. Ryan(13), Seth(11), Ian(8), Noah(5), Luke(4), and Jack (born April 2010). We live in Tennessee on 4 acres. I grew up the first few years of my life on a dairy farm in Missouri and loved country living. I was saved at a young age by the grace of God and shed blood of Jesus during that time of simple country living. That part of my life is very dear to me. God taught me many things as a baby Christian that I can still think about today. Then we moved to Memphis when I was in the 5th grade. I learned to love the city life, too. It was a completely different way of life. My whole family still lives in Missouri, still does a little farming and simple country living. When Jeff, the kids, and I moved from the city to the country, I incorporated my city life with my country background. My mom laughs at me when I cut my grass on my John Deere tractor while drinking my Starbucks Mocha and wearing my fancy sunglasses. And when I am shampooing my carpet in my high-heeled black boots. I just love those boots! But I would love to share about how I got to be the way I am today, The Victoriously Organized Woman! I used to work as a supervisor at bank for years. I had to dress up everyday. After the birth of our second child we decide I should be a SAHM. One of the best decision I've ever made. But I made a bad decision, too. I hardly ever dressed up anymore. I hardly ever wore make-up. After about a year I looked in the mirror and said, "OH MY! Jeff has to come home to this!?!" He is so wonderful he said he liked me that way, "natural". Well , I realized that I didn't. It made me feel bad about myself. I felt disorganized, tired and stressed and a little "rough" looking. I felt I just couldn't get it all done. At this time I was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease. I wasn't able to do certains things. Like mop the floor of my completely hardwood floor home that I was obsessed about keeping clean. The doctor told me I couldn't have salt, caffeine, or stress! "What?! Are you kidding!?" So , then I decided to change my routine,thought pattern, and cooking. I began to get up early, shower and dress, put on make up. Always being ready to leave whenever I needed to. I established routines that helped me eliminate extra cleaning and stresses. I was able to make more time for myself and make more time for my family. And the family had more time for each other. I made more time for God and others. This made me feel better about myself. I am so happy about how this changed my life I want to share it with everyone.
